Mecyn told the elves the different locations they found that would give them the advantage and could possibly shift the battle in their favor. The day was coming to a close and they all knew they needed their rest so they went to bed for the time being knowing the next battle could take a long while...

After scouting the area they return and tell the warriors of Mirkwood of their finds and how and when to attack based on their enemy.

Mecyn gathers the rangers in Mirkwood and they keep a lookout on their surroundings as well as find vantage points which will give them the advantage in battle.

Mecyn smiled happy to see everyone was ok. "I would be honored to join you" Mecyn said happily.

Mecyn returned finally. He had put out a call for any ranger within the area to aid the Mirkwood realm. He was able to gather 75 Dunedain rangers.


(sorry i havent been on. i would have been on yesterday but i had to read all that and i got tired then woke up and had to read for another hour haha)

"No i did not see Aragorn. Lord Elrond told me he was on a quest to find some creature." Mecyn says as he begins putting on his formal wear given to him by the strict female elven advisor. "Oh and here Legolas this is a gift from Lord Elrond" he says as he hands Legolas the Miruv...

Mecyn finally arrives at Mirkwood after talking much with Lord Elrond after the others left. He meets up with the others and sits.

As the meeting draws closer Mecyn hopes they will arrive. He and Glalin share small talk until the others arrive.

"Well master dwarf, remember me being in such a good mood last night after speaking with Lord Elrond." Mecyn says happily " Well he heard of your requested items and told me he would forge them himself and enchant each item with something special."

Mecyn walks up behind the dwarf. " Come with me master dwarf" Mecyn says with a smile. They arrive at Lord Elronds chamber. Layed out on the table are the items Glalin had forged.

"Nothing really" He says with a smile. "Its a suprise"

Mecyn speaks with Elrond in private for a long while before leaving his chamber. Looks curiously where Legolas and Glalin are and runs to catch up.
"So all is well again. Let us eat and sleep til morning". Mecyn says with a smile.

Mecyn thanks Legolas for his calming and kind hearted words. " Im sorry i faultered. I must go talk with Lord Elrond" Mecyn says as he walks away.

Mecyn moves from about the trees and looks onto Lord Elrond with anger. "It seems im not trusted. But i was trusted enough to protect your gates many of times." Mecyn says as he disappears into the woods.

Mecyn nods to Glalin as they part ways for the time being. Mecyn sneaks to Legolas but hears him talking to someone and it is not Arya for she is inside Rivendell. He leans in the shadow of a tree and listens.
