"Ah Legoras gweet pawty!!" Glalin says starting to stumble a bit and thinks to himself how unintelligent that just sounded he shakes off the dizzy feeling and clears his throat "So of this great peril..when shall it be here? For ive hungered for a good battle for a good while now". He says to Legolas as he hiccups leaning on the tall elf.
"i am not sure but i am worried about getting the women and children away on time" he replied "and if you dont mind could i have some advise?" legolas asked
"thanks you " he says with a laugh. "this great battle will kill many, i fear i will return home to have to tell many wifes they are widows, aryas brother is only 100 should i stop him from this battle ?" he has a glint of fear in his eye
"Hmm well i guess i must not have told you yet..on my return here i was told i had visitors from my kin in the mountains just to the east and they shall assist us in a time of need" Glalin says with a big grin "So you see King i dont think we have much to worry about. And as for Anaul, I think we should train him together and if he is ready by the time this peril arrives he shall fight..if not he shall stay in the throne room." Glalin says.
"oh well that makes me feel better , i feel others of my kin wont stay for the battle at least i have uses lot. we shall start the training tomorrow i will learn him to shoot with his bowe and arrows and you can teach him your best skill. hmm which i surpose is eatting and drinking" legolas laughs
"Hmm i must say i think i am better at that than actual fighting" Glalin says with a laugh. "Though i dont think he is strong enough to weild a hammer or dwarven axe..but maybe a dwarven throwing axe will suffice. We shall see" Glalin says with excitement.
"he is to afraid but we shall see. anaul and arya are going to see offer there family in the morning and i am going to send finrod with them, i must see of the women and children tomorrow than prepare my army " legolas says seeing finrod approaching
"Ah i have a better idea, you worry of the women and children and i shall take care of the army" Glalin says with a chuckle "They will fear me more than the enemy when im done with them".
"yes thank you that would be most helpful" legolas turned to face everyone . "you may have heard and felt that bad times are coming for the elves, well you you have heard right there is a fight heading our way and tomorrow we shall prepare, the women and children are leaving tomorrow and any man that are to affraid to fight are allowed to leave but shall be prepared to not being welcomed back with opened arms " he bellowed across the room ."now lets drink , see if you can handle your drink better than your cousin could " he laughed
"Arya? Arya are you awake?" "I am now." She sat up and saw Anaul sitting in a chair. " Why are you up Anaul? We have to leave tomorrow you know." " I know but..." "What's wrong? I know when somethings wrong with you, cause you get this look." "Alright i get it!I'll tell you." He got on Arya's bed and sat next to her and said. "Why is Mom, Dad and Aldrain leaving? Don't they have faith that we elves will win?" "So thats what this is about.Anaul they do have hope, but you know Aldrain has had a very hard life, He needs to have a place were he won't have a hard life." "But why is mom and dad going with him?" "Because it's time for them to leave here.They don't want to leave you but they have to." "Hmm, I think i get it." She smiled at him. "Good, now can we get some sleep before we have to leave!?" "Yes" he got off her bed and went to his. And right before she fell asleep she heard Anaul said "Thank you Arya. Love you!" She smiled and then fell asleep.
Outside Glalin and Legolas continue to drink and continue conversation though it is getting late and their is much to do the next day. " Ah laddy well it seems we should be getting some sleep, we have a full day tmrw" Glalin exclaims.
"yes you go get some sleep i am fine, i may get some sleep later " legolas sat looking around thinking of what had happened that day while everyone was asleep. Dawn soon approached the next morning.
