I returned with Legolas to his home in Mirkwood.. They we're most freindly and tended all my needs. The food was more than adequate. And the Ale that fizzed like a millions starts on your tongue.

It was not long till i was parched and took the time to sleep. I was due at council at first light. I have alot of questions but more importantly i have news of armies in the east mustering. Wild ungoverned men. The only purpose i could learn of them could only mean of Evil. These elves must be warned.

But what of the shadow of old? does it still hold in these lands. I cant see how with so many valiant elves at Legolas service.

I came to a hall where the lords were gathered. A small circle of chairs.
Legolas gestered for me to sit which i did without question. I felt uneasy as i was eyed by all with suspicious eyes..

(The council began)

As always in every meeting Arya only listens and only says something if she has to.She kept quiet and kept her thoughts to herself.

whispers came to me of the master who's domain is in the Iron Mountains, but i could not find his true form. I am sure sorcery is at work here. I heard your people here speak of the Nazgul, perhaps your latest war and the one to come are tied together."

"Men are also come North from Khand and the Harad. Great seige works they bring and some bare the mark of,.....Mordor...."

Whispers broke out immediately amongs the gathered. All with anxious looks upon there faces.

Paedha was proud in the words he spoke. Seeing that all we're moved to fear but also to courage for the things they would need to do.

"the enermie is wise and i have had a growing fear of a spy in mirkwood yet i do not know who, i will send news to elrond" legolas said . he had a growing feeling of a spy but was unsure of who.

"hmm yes that may be a good idea". then just as he spoke a horn sound rang in all the ears, "whats that ... oh no anaul.. theres 3 dark riders outside " legolas said as he ran out the room. soon followed by finrod who grabbed his bow from below his seat.

Racing outside it was as legolas had said 3 dark riders surrounded anaul. "leave now you are not permitted here " legolas shouted as he stood infront of anaul and pushed him back out the way. "you have something we require " muttered a dark harsh hooded voice. "we have nothing for you leave not" finrod yelled.
